Winston Reid - Captain
This cunt is not captain material. Got the body language of a defeatist loser. Goes down injured at least once a game and is one of the least inspiring blokes I’ve seen. One of many things wrong with the club

Reid has been an absolute car crash this season, that richarlison goal was fucking disgraceful, the way he just allowed him to get the shot in.

They're all cunts to a man. Sell them all.

Creful what you wish for, though, Alf. Declan was at fault for allowing Ashley Williams to wander into space in our area last night for their fourth goal.

You're right - it's a balance between allowing Rice to learn and trying to pick the best side capable of winning (snigger!). But he has also been prone to errors this season. He's not the messiah. At least not yet.

I find it hard to believe that Reece Burke is worse than any of Ogbonna, Rice, Reid (on current form). He should be here and playing.

Re: Winston Reid - Captain
Give Rice a run. Part of preparing for the future. But when you give a manager a 6 month deal with the only objective being survival ( understandable btw) they will , if old school like Moyes, follow the "Play book" which says experience trumps all. Never seen that to be true myself. Younger players have no experience of fans barracking and will often play with freedom.

I would be looking at blooding Holland once he recovers too. By that time we will be relegation certainties anyway if we are not already.

Reid's body is fvcked and too many injuries now catching up. Need another CB if Oxford does not progress as expected ( which is looking the case now ? ). Collins as their mentor. At least Ginge throws himself in front of shots and that is something we used to do under Allardyce and it went missing 6 months after Bilic came in.

Re: Winston Reid - Captain
Ogbonna also seems to want to play with about an acre of space around him in every game. He just doesn't fancy it when people crowd him. In which case, he should go and play in China.

Re: Winston Reid - Captain
Bang on, Stewie.

Ogbonna was a decent player when he was young, went to Juventus and sat on the bench for two years - we picked him up for far too much money considering he had barely kicked a ball for a couple of seasons, by which time he had missed a key part of his football education by not playing first team football.

Torino, the club where he made his name, have got some cash and are doing reasonably well this season. Word in Italy is they are sniffing around - and he appears to know this.

It's a toxic combination of mind elsewhere, not as good a player as everybody thought...and now Moyes. Sheesh.

Re: Winston Reid - Captain
Unfortunately one of the many overpaid bigheaded players at our club. Give me James Collins any day.

Finally people waking up to the fact that this pigeon toed donkey of a centre half is an absolute fraud. Just sack the c**t who gave him a fcking 6 year contract!

cholo 8:32 Thu Nov 30
Re: Winston Reid - Captain
Ogbonna reminds me of Titus Bramble, the bloke has a schoolboy error in him pretty much every other match and his all round game is not much better than his concentration, which is absolutely piss poor. Has to be binned in January,I never thought I'd be yearning for the return of Fonte.

Thank fuck the club captain is nowhere near all this.

The penny will start dropping for people soon enough.

We have no.leaders at the club from top to bottom

We have plenty of Fucking snowflakes though

We have shite defenders

We have zero heros for the fans

We have countless zeros

Griff, those stats are shocking, I must say. Ogbonna another one that needs binning

stewie griffin 7:55 Thu Nov 30
Re: Winston Reid - Captain
Oh, and 8 of our 10 points came from those 5 games ogbonna didn't play in

2 from 9 with him in the side

Impressive

stewie griffin 7:52 Thu Nov 30
Re: Winston Reid - Captain
This season, he's been absolutely fine alongside fonte and/or Collins. When ogbonna plays it's a very different story.

Without Ogbonna
Played 5 Conceded 4

With Ogbonna
Played 9 Conceded 26

Absolute turd of a footballer

Braderz- head and shoulders above the rest? What the fuck have you been smoking? The blokes a complete liability, and has been shit for best part of 3 years. The only time he hasn’t been shit is when he’s been injured!

As for you not going to games - doesn’t surprise me one bit!!

Re: Winston Reid - Captain
So who should have been Captain from that lot against Everton?

And Yes, Winston was a shadow of himself both in performance and passion, a leader on the pitch he certainly wasn't.

Who deserves the armband, because im fucked if i can see ?
